Meet the Doctors

Dr. Douglas C. Gagnon, Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio, but has spent most of his life in Longwood, FL. He moved to Tampa, FL to attend The University of South Florida where he graduated with honors with his Bachelors of Arts in Criminology. Dr. Gagnon, Jr. attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus in Port Orange, FL and graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2010. While attending Palmer; Dr. Gagnon, Jr. pursued many leadership positions including time on Student and Class Councils as well as being a Campus Guide who introduced prospective students, visiting Alumni and dignitaries, and the general public to Palmer College and the Chiropractic profession. He has since taken continuing education in the fields of Pregnancy & Pediatrics, Activator Methods and Electrodiagnostics. He has been certified in the Webster Technique since 2014 and holds additional Perinatal Certification and Pediatrics Certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association that he obtained in 2022 and 2024 respectively. In addition he is an Activator Methods Advanced Proficiency Rated Doctor. Dr. Gagnon, Jr. loves to learn and teach; he plans to continue pursuing both during his Chiropractic career.  He has been teaching Anatomy & Physiology and Wellness Concepts classes at Polk State College since 2012.
Dr. Carys Felton was born in Sheffield, England but her family moved to the United States when she was a baby. She grew up in Princeton, NJ, a beautiful college town with many community activities. Dr. Felton earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ graduating Magna Cum Laude. She worked as an office manager of a Chiropractic Office for 3 years before she went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA graduating Cum Laude in 2009. She moved to Altamonte Springs, FL in 2010 and worked in a practice providing maternity coverage for a few months before deciding to open a practice with her now husband, Dr. Douglas C. Gagnon, Jr. She has since taken continuing education in the fields of Pregnancy & Pediatrics, Activator Methods.  She is a certified in the Webster Technique and is an Activator Methods Advanced Proficiency Rated Doctor.
Both Dr. Felton and Dr. Gagnon, Jr. are excited to have their chiropractic practice in Haines City and enjoy being active within the community. They were married in March of 2013 surrounded by friends and family. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with their two children and visiting local attractions.
